# Faye Tasks example

A browser-local task manager showing Faye UI composition, forms, themes, overlays and notifications. Task state is stored on the current device; there is no account, synchronization or backend service.

The example uses normal `@fayegram-ai/faye-ui` import paths. Faye UI is currently unpublished: the `0.1.0` package was withdrawn. Before installing this example, wait for a corrected release and update its Faye UI dependency to that published version. No repository access or source aliases are required by a published package.

After a compatible package is available, install the example's declared dependencies with `npm install` and start it with `npm run dev`. `npm run build` checks its types and builds the application. These commands belong to the standalone example directory.

Create, edit, complete, search and delete tasks. Theme controls demonstrate the same components with different appearance preferences. Persistence failures retain in-memory edits and offer recovery. Reset clears only this example's task data after confirmation.

The source is a composition example, not a hosted task service or a guarantee of cross-device storage. See the consumer guides for component contracts and accessibility limitations.
